IN SHORT- WHAT ARE KANGEN WATER MACHINES?

WHY IS TAP WATER BAD TO DRINK?

Tap water is full of chlorine, fluoride and often contains strains of pharmaceuticals and other harmful chemicals or bacteria. Our tap water goes through so many rusty and unsanitary pipes before getting to our faucet, so it might seem safe to drink because you don’t feel any immediate effects, but can effect our long term health.

ISN’T ANY OTHER FILTER GOING TO DO THE TRICK?

WHAT ABOUT PLASTIC BOTTLED WATER? IS IT GOOD IF IT SAYS ALKALINE?

Bottled water is acidic, oxidizing, strips the body of minerals, loaded with plastic, can create hormone imbalances and is linked to cancer, and on top of that, is one of the biggest pollutant to our environment. Alkaline water packed into plastic bottles is basically a scam. It’s full of chemicals leaking from the plastic and sodium bicarbonate that is added so that the water tests “alkaline.” Kangen water is alkalized, not alkaline. The difference is Alkaline = chemically changed and Alkalized = electrically charged.

WILL THE FILTER REMOVE FLUORIDE FROM THE WATER?

No, the high grade filter will not remove fluoride. The only filter that will remove fluoride is an alum filter. Minerals are not removed from water through normal filtration. However, since fluoride is an acidic mineral carrying a positive charge, some of it will be removed from the alkaline side to the acidic side of the ionized water. This will reduce the amount of fluoride found in the alkaline water, which is the water we consume. Thus, we can effectively remove up to approximately 50% of the fluoride from tap water.
